Logistika WMS is an easy to use Warehouse Management System designed to control and automate all activities within the warehouse. The system is designed to use real time mobile technology and barcodes in order to control, audit and automate every movement within the warehouse.
To operate correctly, the WMS system must connect with the company ERP. Logistika WMS is certified to run with SAP Business One and others ERPs. Once interfaces have been connected, the WMS takes control of all entries, exits and movements that occur within the warehouse.
An advanced and graphical administration module is included to visualize and manage all activities, including inbound freight management, yard management, dock door allocation, and all the jobs required to move products within the warehouse. All jobs have worker and equipment restraints and are suggested by the system, all the manager has to do is verify and confirm jobs. Once jobs have been confirmed, they released in a timely manner to the warehouse operators through the wireless hand held devices. Once an operator receives a job, he or she will receive specific instructions of where to pick and deliver the product within the warehouse. All moves within the warehouse involve barcode scans from the product or license plate (pallet) and the destination location.
Logistika WMS includes put away, replenishment and picking algorithms based on product attributes, restrictions, product age and product turns. The system also contains an advanced cycle counting module which is key to maintaining high inventory accuracy within the warehouse.
The system also includes an advanced catalog, which helps manage the different packaging options a product may come in. Products can come in any packaging at any level, and the system will automatically handle the packaging, the different bar codes and the quantities contained within each level of packaging.
Logistika WMS contains an add-on for third party logistics operators, enabling them to calculate billing algorithms, audit and track inventory per customer and a web portal which enables customers to order and view inventory items.
A web portal is also available of non 3PL warehouses, where suppliers and customers can view inventory levels and order transactions using horizontal security levels (user is only allowed to see certain product s or product lines).
As with all Logistika Labs software, Logistika WMS comes with a built in business intelligence module which operates directly as an Excel Add-On. The business intelligence module enables managers and supervisors to mine vital information about the operations results.
