Designed to manage all the components within the retail chain, Logistika RETAIL is a robust and scalable solution employed by top retailers.
Easy to use yet extremely powerful, Logistika RETAIL is composed of the following modules:
In-Store Back Office:
Every store has its own back office where the store manager operates and manages his or her store. The in store process begins with the reception of products sent from t
he company warehouses, other stores or suppliers through the electronic transfer module (ASN - Advance Shipping Notice).
Once items are received in the store, the system constantly prompts the manager to do advanced cycle counting, in which the system tells the store manager which products to count each day according to an ABC random algorithm which assigns more counts to the more important items. Cycle counts can be performed through a PC or a wireless Pocket PC.
The third process of the back office includes the end of day audit per register report and bank deposits. The back office also allows for client management, advanced reporting, an Excel Business Intelligence and key performance indicators.
The In-Store Back Office, also allows the execution of transfers to other stores and product requisitions or purchase orders to company warehouses or suppliers.
All data that flows to or from the In-Store back office is managed through the advanced replication module.

In Store POS System:
The advanced POS system is connected to the store database which in turn is managed by the In-Store Back Office. The system supports multiple POS's per store and each POS has multi-user functionality.
The POS is designed with the user in mind, making it very easy to use while offering a wide range of functionality.
The POS module is multi-currency, multi-payment, and includes lay away functionality. It's customer loyalty program enables customers to accumulate points through purchases and redeem them at any store within the chain. Gift certificates functionality allows the POS to automatically assign a value to a gift card, depending on the purchasing conditions configured to the system. Gift cards can also me redeemed at any store within the chain.
The POS module extends to mobile sales associates enabling them to execute sales transactions through a wireless Pocket PC.
The module also allows includes an extensive and flexible customer knowledge functionality, which captures the correct information for each client according to his or her profile. Each time a client holds a purchase, intelligence as to which other products could be offered to the client and 5 star rating are presented to the sales associate during the sale.
Each time a line item is scanned, the system automatically checks and applies sales defined at the central module, eliminating manual entry discounts.

Advanced Data Replication:
Each store or warehouse contains an independent database that replicates intelligently with the corporate database. Using this mechanism prices, products and other information can be sent to one or more stores and daily sales and inventory information is collected from the central corporate module. In addition, advance replication allows data to flow from the store to the central server to all stores, enabling important information like gift certificates or client credit information to be available at all stores.
The replication scheme is light and scalable, allowing replication to be done from dial up technologies and up.

Web Portals:
The solution includes three portals: Client Portal, Store Portal and Supplier Portal. The client portal enables a client to see his credit information, gift card balance and items bought pending delivery. The Store Portal is key to share vital information like KPI's and transactional information from other stores not replicated through advanced replication, such as invoices for returns, gift card balance and credit information. The Supplier portal includes open purchase orders and inventory levels for the items supplied by the supplier.
Corporate Back Office:
The ability to see all store activity and manage transactions centrally is the key to a successful retailer.
The corporate process begins with advanced forecasting which enables users to actively manage item by item forecasts. In addition the built in "Business Intelligence" module which operates directly in Excel as an Add-On is used for advanced data drilling and trend identification. For non-repetitive products such as fashion products, Logistika Labs has built in a curve system which helps the buyer make informed decisions according styles, size, color and other important sales attributes.
Once the buyer makes an informed decision on what he or she should purchase, the next step is to generate the Purchase Order. This can be done in the Logistika RETAIL system or an external interfaced ERP (Logistika RETAIL is certified to be used with SAP Business One).

When the purchase order arrives and is received, the next step is to run the PO Balancing algorithm, which suggests what quantities of what products should be transferred to each store. Once the electronic transfers are verified, the products are sent to each store. Each store in turn compares what it is physically receiving with the electronic manifest which was delivered to the store through the database replication scheme.
The Corporate Back Office also allows for "Store Balancing" which is similar to "PO Balancing" with the difference that it balances the inventory between the stores, enabling the central inventory manager to see which stores have excess inventory and which stores have scarce inventory and suggesting automatic transfers between stores. The system also includes automatic inventory replenishment which alerts the central inventory manager when a product should be purchased to the supplier.
The Corporate Module also includes an advanced sales module, which enables centralized definition of sales to be performed in specific stores. A Sales Wizard is included to defined any type of sale including:
- Complex rules requiring specific date, hour, product and client requirements
- BOGO: Buy one (or any multiple) and get one free
- Expiration and prioritization of sales
